MOSCOW (Sputnik) – EgyptAir Flight MS804 that went off radar screens while en route from Paris to Cairo should have flown to Egypt's Hurghada after landing in the country's capital, a source in the Cairo airport told Sputnik on Thursday.
The plane had to land in Cairo at 3:20 a.m. local time (01:20 GMT) and after technical inspections the aircraft should have flown to Hurghada at 6 a.m, the source said.
Egypt Air Flight MS804 departed from the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris at 23:09 GMT. The aircraft headed for Cairo International Airport. According to the airline, there were a total of 66 people on board the plane, including 56 passengers.
