MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Russian center for Syrian reconciliation at the Hmeymim airbase registered a total of eight violations of the ceasefire regime in Syria in the last 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said Friday.
"The cessation of hostilities in Syria has been respected in most of Syrian provinces. However, a total of eight violations of the ceasefire regime have been registered, including seven in the Damascus province and one in the Aleppo province," the ministry said in a daily bulletin posted on its website.
"Within the last 24 hours, truce agreements have been reached with representatives of three settlements in the Aleppo and the Daraa provinces bringing the total number of settlements that have joined ceasefire to 112," the ministry also reported.
The Russia-US brokered ceasefire regime in Syria came into force on February 27.
