The Russian hockey team on Sunday shut out the United States and took the tournament’s bronze medal.

Finland Beat Russia 3-1 Becoming Hockey World Championship Finalist

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Vyacheslav Voinov, Sergei Mozyakin, Ivan Telegin, Yevgeni Dadonov, Artemi Panarin and Vadim Shipachyov scored seven goals for Russia.

On Saturday, the Russian team lost the semifinal match against Finland with the score of 1-3, while Canada in another semifinal beat the US team 4-3.

Later in the day, Finland will face Canada in the final game of 2016 Ice Hockey World Championship in Russia's capital Moscow.
