NEW DELHI (Sputnik) — According to Mukherjee, India and China have been expanding ties in almost every field, including economic and political. He stressed that the two nations needed to share developmental experience.
"But we are not satisfied because we do believe there is immense potential for trade and investment between the two countries," Mukherjee said, as quoted by Hindustan Times outlet.
Mukherjee arrived in China on Tuesday with a four-day visit. He held a meeting with the local authorities and spoke with the members of the Indian diaspora in Guangzhou.
On Wednesday, Mukherjee will take part in the business forum in Guangzhou. After that, he will fly to Beijing for a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
