MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The EgyptAir flight departed from the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, France, at 23:09 GMT on Wednesday, May 18. The aircraft transmitted its first electronic message at 21:09 GMT, the publication said.
"The plane’s technical situation is very normal," pilot Mohammed Shakir indicated in the Aircraft Technical Log he signed at 20:30 GMT, which was published by Egypt’s Ahram daily.
Following two dispatches saying the engines were functional, the third message at 00:26 GMT indicated that temperature had risen on the co-pilot’s side of the window, it added.
Flight MS804 continued sending electronic messages for three minutes until it disappeared from radar screens 10 miles into Egyptian airspace over the Mediterranean Sea, claiming all 66 lives on board.
The investigative committee to probe into the incident was formed on Friday.
