MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov and Special Representative for North Korea Policy with the US State Department Sung Kim held a phone talk Wednesday, discussing the possible resumption of six-party talks on the Korean nuclear issue.
"Issues were discussed relating to Russia-US cooperation in the search for ways to resume six-party talks on solving the nuclear issue on the Korean peninsula," the ministry said in a statement.
The phone talk was initiated by Washington.
