SpaceX plans to try to land the first stage of the Flacon 9 rocket on a drone ship (autonomous floating platform) in the Atlantic Ocean.
@SpaceX There was a tiny glitch in the motion of an upper stage engine actuator. Probably not a flight risk, but still worth investigating.

SpaceX started experimenting with drone ship landings in 2015. Of the last three Falcon 9 launches, two drone ship landings were successful.
