MOSCOW (Sputnik) – An explosion at a chemical plant in the Indian state of Maharashtra has left at least three dead and dozens injured, local news agencies reported Thursday.
The explosion occurred at a chemical plant in the city of Dombivali 31 miles from the state capital of Mumbai.
According to preliminary reports, a boiler exploded and a fire ensued.
ANI news agency reported that three people had been killed and over 20 were injured. NDTV reported that one person had died and another 150 were injured.
