MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The divorce petition was filed on Monday and Amber is asking for spousal support, the magazine said on Wednesday citing an anonymous source.
According to the TMZ celebrity news website, Depp has filed a response to the petition through his lawyer, Laura Wasser, asking the judge to reject the spousal support claim.
TMZ said that Depp and Heard separated two days after Johnny’s mother passed away.
Johnny Depp married Amber Heard in February 2015. According to US Weekly Magazine, the two met in 2009, while they were cast in the film "The Rum Diary." The couple have a 22-year age difference.
Depp was previously in a 14-year relationship with French singer, model and actress Vanessa Paradis, but the two never married.
