Ukrainian forces made an attempt to break into the settlement of Avdeyevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, according to a DPR Defense Ministry spokesman.

DONETSK (Sputnik) – The Defense Ministry of the self-proclaimed eastern Ukrainian Donetsk People’s Republic on Thursday said the Ukrainian military has made an attempt to take the region of Avdeevka resulting in deaths.

“Today, Ukrainian forces made an attempt to break into the region of the settlement of Avdeevka. According to preliminary information, there are victims,” a DPR Defense Ministry spokesman said.
