MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Wednesday, defense ministers of the V4, comprising the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia, met in the Czech village of Liblice in the vicinity of Prague to discuss preparations for the forthcoming NATO summit in Warsaw, as well as the number of security issues.
"All the ministers found that it is necessary to increase NATO forces on the eastern flank," Macierewicz said, as quoted by the Polish Telewizja Republika broadcaster.
He added that such strengthening would be "the best response" to those wanting to harm the security of NATO, Europe and Poland.
The Warsaw NATO Summit 2016 will take place on July 8-9, where members of the alliance are set to discuss increasing military activities on NATO's eastern flank.
