On Wednesday, Ennaceur concluded a two-day visit to Moscow, during which he held meetings with Russian parliamentary speakers Valentina Matvienko and Sergei Naryshkin and with the president of Russian-Tunisian joint committee, Russian Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko.
"There is a common will to strengthen cooperation between two countries. In Tunisia we have created a group of friendship with Russia. Sergei Naryshkin has informed me that Russia also has created a friendship group with Tunisia in the Russian State Duma. The next step will be an exchange of delegations between our parliaments," the parliament president said.
In March, the two countries held the Joint Intergovernmental Commission's meeting in Moscow where the partners discussed prospects of establishing a strategic partnership, including industrial cooperation, joint ventures and investments, particularly injections from Russia.
