Supporters of the anti-Islamic movement Pegida expressed their anger about a special series of Ferrero chocolates, dedicated to the European football championship, Deutsche Welle wrote.
Traditional images of a white child on the packaging of the chocolate were replaced with pictures of children of various ethnicities who turned out to be players on the German football team.

The childhood images of Ilkay Gundogan from "Borussia Dortmund" (who has Turkish roots) and Jerome Boateng from "Bavaria Munich" (whose parents originally come from Ghana) caused a wave of indignation among the members of the right-wing movement.
"They just totally lost their fear. Can one really buy it or is it fake!?" the comment under the picture said.

Many other social media users from Germany and other European countries accused Pegida of racism.
One of the Twitter users wrote that he "can't wait for the start of the European Championship," and demanded "to ban Pegida proponents from visiting the games."
Another user made a joke and suggested asking Pegida's opinion about the friendship between Milky and Schoki — two characters from a Kinder advertising campaign.
