MOSCOW (Sputnik) — A US-Russia-brokered ceasefire came into force across Syria on February 27, but it does not apply to terrorist organizations active in the country, such as al-Nusra Front, which is outlawed in Russia.
"The cessation of hostilities in Syria has been respected in most of Syrian provinces. A total of four violations of the ceasefire regime have been registered (three in the province of Damascus and one in Aleppo) in the past 24 hours," the ministry said in a daily bulletin posted on its website.
