SIMFEROPOL (Sputnik) — The working group of the Crimean government will define and submit investment projects to the Chinese business within a month, the head of the Crimean Republic Sergei Aksenov said during a governmental meeting on Tuesday.
"There will be results, probably, not right now… At least we understand the mentality and the will to invest in specific projects. [We have] a lot to offer, and we will submit that kind of program within a month."
Aksenov noted that the Chinese business were interested in the major infrastructure projects in Crimea. Accordingly, the working group will define these investment projects, and the business from China will be invited to take part in their implementation.
The delegation of Crimean officials and lawmakers visited China on May 16-18, where they presented the touristic and investment potential of the republic.
