MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Contracts signed by the Russian nuclear energy corporation Rosatom group of companies at the ATOMEXPO-2016 forum are worth $10 billion, Rosatom CEO Sergei Kirienko said Tuesday.
"Economic potential of the reached agreements amounts to some $10 billion," Kirienko said.
The ATOMEXPO-2016 forum held from May 30 to June 1 in Moscow is a platform for meetings between worldwide leaders in the nuclear power industry. During the first two days of the event Rosatom agreed on power plants construction with a number of countries, including Bolivia, Nigeria, Tanzania and Bangladesh.
