MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russia launched on Saturday the Rokot carrier rocket with satellite for the needs of the country's Defense Ministry from the Plesetsk space center in northwestern Russia, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
"On Saturday, June 4, at 17:00 Moscow time [14:00 GMT], a crew of Space forces of Aerospace Forces conducted a launch of the light-class Rokot carrier rocket with a spacecraft from the third launch unit of the 133rd site of the Plesetsk space center (Arkhangelsk Region) on behalf of Russian Defense Ministry," the statement said.
