According to the reconciliation center, a total of nine ceasefire violations were registered in Syria in the past 24 hours. Of those four truce breaches befell the region of Aleppo, the rest of violations ocurred in the Damascus province.
The Russian military said that the Islamist group Jaysh al-Islam was responsible for violations, shelling al-Asad, Meidan, Halidiya, and Old Aleppo neighborhoods in the city of Aleppo, as well as four towns in the Damascus area — Harasta, Jaubar, Ard al-Sahiya, and Masakid Barza.
Meanwhile, the number of settlements which agreed to the Syrian ceasefire has increased to 134, the Russian military noted.
"Within last 24 hours, a truce agreement with representatives of one inhabited area in the Daraa province has been achieved. The total number of inhabited areas, which joined the reconciliation process, has reached 134."
The Russia-US brokered ceasefire regime in Syria came into force on February 27.
