MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Finland expects Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit the country in early July, Finnish Foreign Minister Timo Soini said Monday.
"We are actively exchanging visits. President Putin will visit Naantali [city in south-western Finland] in the beginning of July," Soini said after talks with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.
Earlier in the day, the Kremlin confirmed media reports claiming that Putin was to visit the country.
