MADRID (Sputnik) — Russia's Consulate General in Barcelona is clarifying reports of the Spanish media on the death of a Russian woman in Catalonia, a diplomatic source told RIA Novosti on Monday.
"The Russian Consulate General is in touch with the Spanish law enforcement agencies. We are clarifying the information," the source said.
Earlier, the Spanish media reported that the bodies of a Russian woman and an Italian man were found on a yacht in Girona, Catalonia on Sunday. According to the reports, poisoning is believed to be a cause for the death.
