MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The representative offices will be established in Lisbon, Vatican City, Copenhagen, Warsaw, Geneva, Zagreb, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Seoul and Rabat, Catalan newspaper La Vanguardia reported.
According to the reports, these representative offices' budget is expected to be approximately 400,000 euros ($455,000)
Currently, Catalonia has representative offices in Berlin, Paris, Brussels, Washington, Vienna, Paris and London.
On November 9, the Parliament of Catalonia passed a resolution to begin the process of seceding from Spain. The process of gaining independence from Spain consists of forming a government and other state structures, as well as drawing up a constitution.
Madrid disputed the process with a complaint to the Spanish constitutional court, which unanimously voted to abolish the resolution. Catalonia did not recognize the court ruling.
