YEREVAN (Sputnik) — The CSTO is an intergovernmental military alliance comprising Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and Tajikistan.
"Overall, we can say that there are some 10,000 people," Nikolai Bordyuzha said.
The organization has implemented a system to control the flow of migrants from conflict zones, he added, stating that the CSTO can take action in case the flow increases.
"We have agreed that we will gather data from all CSTO member states on a monthly basis in order to see the whole picture of the changing migrant flows on our territory. We are focusing on people originating from Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen, Libya and Iraq," he said.
