MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Thursday, Moscow will host talks between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Jordanian counterpart Nasser Judeh.
"Russia believes efforts to coordinate initiatives related to Syria with its Jordanian partners to be relevant both in the bilateral format and within the International Syria Support Group co-chaired by Russia and the US," the ministry's press department said in a statement.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry's statement, the talks will be mostly focused on means of resolution of the Syrian conflict. The situation in Iraq and the stalled Israeli-Palestinian relations will also be on the agenda.
The two diplomats will revise counter-terrorism efforts, which "have become an important element on the bilateral agenda," the statement said.
