The number of people killed in a police station car bombing in the town of Midyat in southeastern Turkey reached five, local media reported Wednesday.

ANKARA (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said three people, including a police officer and two civilians died in the explosion, while 30 people sustained injuries, five of whom were in serious condition. Ankara accused the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) of carrying out the attack.
