Australian search teams will be examining new debris that could be from the disappeared Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, KING-TV reports.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The debris was found by Blaine Gibson, a Seattle man, in Madagascar on June 6.

Gibson has notified the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) of the discovery. The bureau will now need to determine whether the debris actually comes from the Boeing 777 aircraft.

In February, Gibson made his first debris discovery off the coast of Mozambique. Experts later determined that the debris was consistent with panels from the disappeared plane.
