MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Grumman American AA-1B plane struck two units of the apartment building located about a quarter mile away from the Hawthorne Airport in Los Angeles County, KTLA (channel 5) said.
According to fire officials, two people on board the plane died in the crash. There were no victims or injuries on the ground.
The US Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the cause of the crash.
