MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The death toll in the twin terrorist attacks that shook the Syrian Sayyidah Zaynab town south of Damascus has risen to nine, a source in the local security services told Sputnik on Saturday.
According to the source, 16 people have been injured due to the blasts.
The first of the two attacks was reportedly carried out by a suicide bomber at the entrance to the town early on Saturday. Later in the day, a car bomb exploded in Sayyidah Zaynab.
None of the terror groups have claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
