Potential Active Shooter at Albuquerque City Hall, Reports

The building was placed on lockdown as SWAT teams search the building. Two individuals have been detained, though the persons' role in the incident is unknown at this time.

Police spokesman reported that reports of active shooter and hostage situation were likely a hoax.

​"Information is limited at this time, but it is being reported there is a hostage situation," police spokesman Mike Schroeder said earlier. "Citizens are advised to avoid the area."
