MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The prestigious British magazine held a presentation of its world's top 50 restaurants in New York City.
For the first time in history, a Russian restaurant entered the top 20 best restaurants in the world, with the White Rabbit, which is a part of the holding company White Rabbit Family of Boris Zarkov, taking the 18th position. Last year, the White Rabbit was ranked 25th on the list.

According to the list's authors, the White Rabbit's chef Vladimir Mukhin is in the vanguard of a new wave of young Russian culinary talents. Known as much for his use of local, seasonal ingredients as for his charisma, Mukhin is making international waves.
The World`s 50 Best Restaurants list is compiled based on the views of chefs, restaurateurs, gourmands and restaurant critics from different countries, with the jury consisting of about 1,000 experts.
