'Police Dragging Us Out': France to Deport 50 Russian Football Fans
LILLE (Sputnik) — The Russian Union of Fans said earlier in the day that French police had stopped a bus with Russian football fans heading to Lille and announced that around 50 supporters would be deported.

"French authorities have their own requirements, it is necessary to obey the authorities' demands and everything will be alright. A decision has been made following riots in Marseilles. There are people among the Russian fans who have been identified as the instigators," Mutko told R-Sport.

"There is a decision on deportation, but they're not leaving the bus and they do not wish to follow [the police's] demands. The consul is heading to the scene, he should be there in time. When he gets there, he will help escort them out of the bus," the minister added.

On June 11, the Russian national football team played in a draw with the team of England at the Velodrome stadium in Marseille within the UEFA’s Euro 2016.

After the match, the clashes between dozens of Russian and English fans erupted at the stadium. Later, two Russian nationals were detained after scuffles between Russian and English fans at the Velodrome stadium in Marseille.
