16:01 GMT 21.06.2016 (Updated: 19:27 GMT 19.10.2022) A group of Russian artists from the Grekov Studio of Military Artists visited the historical part of Palmyra including the Roman amphitheater which survived the occupation of the city by Daesh.
Palmyra was liberated by the Syrian Army, supported by Russian aviation, on March 27.
