Two major Air France pilots unions have canceled their plans to participate in a nationwide strike on June 24-27, the company said on Tuesday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The previous strike over pay cuts was held on June 11-14 and cost the company an estimated 5.4 million euros ($6.1 million).

"The call for strike action issued by several Air France pilot unions, for the period from 24 to 27 June 2016 has been lifted tonight by two majority [major] unions," the airline said in a press release, not specifying the names of the unions.
