Russia, China, Mongolia to Sign Deal on Creation of Economic Corridor
13:12 GMT 22.06.2016 (Updated: 05:42 GMT 30.04.2023) Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet his Chinese and Mongolian counterparts on the sidelines of the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) session, the sides are likely to sign a program of creation of an economic corridor between the countries, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said Wednesday.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Putin will meet China’s Xi Jinping and Mongolia’s Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj on June 23 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
"[The sides] will discuss the work on promotion of trilateral cooperation, discuss opportunities for future development, sign trilateral agreements, specifically a program for creation of an economic corridor between Russia, China and Mongolia," Ushakov told a briefing.
