MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Kremlin confirmed on Wednesday that Nuland was expected to meet with Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov.
"A/S Nuland has arrived in Moscow & is on her way into town for meetings w Russian officials on Minsk implementation," embassy spokesman William Stevens said in his Twitter blog.
Earlier, the US State Department said that Nuland will travel to Ukraine and Russia to discuss the crisis in Ukraine’s east with the two countries’ authorities.
