#Brexit or #Bremain, EU Will Never Be the Same Again - Belgian PM

BRUSSELS (Sputnik) — The European Union will not be the same irrespective of the outcome of the United Kingdom's EU membership referendum, Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel said Thursday.

"Whether they [UK citizens] vote for or against [EU membership], [Europe] will not be the way it was before the referendum. If voters say 'no,' we will need to find new ways of cooperation. If they say 'yes' [Great Britain] is to comply with the existing agreements. We will also need to think what should be done for the European projects for them to be mobilizing and engaging… One cannot be blind to the doubts concerning the European project spreading across Europe," Michel said.

On Thursday, the UK citizens are voting in a historic UK's EU membership referendum. The question that will be asked is "Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union?" Voters will have to tick a box either next to "Remain a member of the European Union," or "Leave the European Union" option.

According to the latest poll conducted by Ipsos MORI, 52 percent of the UK nationals support remaining within the European bloc, while 48 percent are against such a scenario.
