MOSCOW (Sputnik) – On Thursday, the United Kingdom held a referendum to determine whether or not the country should leave the European Union. According to the final results, 51.9 percent of voters, or 17.4 million people, decided to support Brexit, while about 16.1 million opposed it.
"The main consequences for us are the issues of the dollar exchange rate, we are dependent on it because loans were made primarily in bonds, so we of course depend on the rate," Gorkov said.
It is impossible to assess how the United Kingdom leaving the European Union would impact the situation in the world as it is a new phenomenon, according to him.
