MADRID (Sputnik) — The PP has received 33 percent of all votes counted, while the PSOE is second with 23 percent and the left-wing Podemos is third with 21.1 percent. The liberal Citizens is coming last with 13 percent.
According to this result, PP will have 137 seats in the 350-seat Lower House of Parliament, the PSOE will have 85 seats, the left-wing Podemos will have 71 seats and liberal Citizens will be represented by 32 lawmakers.
The early parliamentary vote was called after four rival parties that came top in December's election failed to agree on a unity government. Since then Spain has been governed by a caretaker cabinet of acting Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy's conservative Popular Party (PP).
