WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Trump had voiced support for Brexit and visited his new golf course in Scotland ahead of the UK referendum’s vote results were announced on Friday.
"Donald Trump cheered on Britain’s current crisis which has sucked billions of dollars out of your retirement accounts because he said, hey, it might bring more rich people to his new golf course," Warren stated at the rally in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Trump called the vote by the majority of UK nationals a great thing, and said the people of the United Kingdom had taken back their country just as Americans will take back theirs in the November election.
