Russia's second serial project 22220 nuclear-powered icebreaker Ural will be launched at the Baltiysky Zavod shipyard in St. Petersburg at the end of July, the shipyard announced on Tuesday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The manufacturer added that Ural would replace project 22220 nuclear-powered icebreaker Sibir at the shipway. Sibir took the place of project 22220 nuclear-powered icebreaker Arktika earlier on Tuesday.

"It is planned to lay the keel for the second serial nuclear-powered icebreaker Ural at the end of July," the shipyard said in a statement.
