"After checking documents of victims of the attack, four people killed turned out not to be Saudi citizens – so, the number of the killed kingdom’s citizens decreased to two. A total of 25 Saudi citizens are injured – they are in Turkish hospitals in satisfactory condition," Murad told Al-Ekhbariya TV-channel.
He said that four people, who were missing, have been found. Saudi authorities are trying to find one more missing citizen.
Earlier Saudi embassy in Turkey said that the attack killed six and injured 27 citizens of the kingdom.
On Tuesday, a coordinated terrorist attack at Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport left at least 41 people dead and more than 240 injured. Although no terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack in Istanbul, all signs point to the Islamic State terror group, outlawed in Russia.
