Turkey Taking Measures on Syrian Border to Prevent Terrorists From Entering
Ankara is employing all the necessary measures to prevent terrorists from entering the country from Syria, the head of the Turkish delegation to Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC), Ramazan Can, said Wednesday.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Tuesday evening, three suicide blasts rocked the international terminal of an Istanbul airport, with preliminary information pointing to Daesh as being behind the attack.
"We cooperate with various countries in a fight against IS [Daesh] and other terrorist organizations and take all the necessary measures to prevent militants from pouring across the border with Syria," Can told reporters on the sidelines of the 47th PABSEC General Assembly.
Daesh is a terrorist group, outlawed in numerous countries including Russia and the United States.
