MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the magazine, the Constitutional Court is set to make its decision in the case on July 22.
Lagarde was put under investigation in August 2014 for authorizing the payment of 403 million euro ($434 million at the current exchange rate) in an out-of-court settlement to Tapie. At the time, Lagarde served as finance minister in the government of President Nicolas Sarkozy.
In December 2015, a French court ordered Lagarde to stand trial for alleged negligence in the affair.
