MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian President Vladimir Putin signed Sunday a federal law on ratification of the cooperation agreement with Tajikistan in the field of petroleum products supplies.
The document was published in the legal information portal.
The cooperation agreement was signed on February 6, 2013 in Moscow.
The agreement is aimed at regulating the mutual cooperation in the field of oil supplies to Tajikistan, which will promote the development of bilateral trade and economic relations, based on the long-term interests in strategic cooperation of the two countries.
The oil supplies from Russia to Tajikistan cannot be re-exported to third countries. In case of violation of the ban, Russia can suspend the duty free supply of oil products.
