WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Last week the same poll showed Clinton with a five point lead, 44-39 percent.
"According to the national survey, the presumptive Democratic nominee tops Trump, 41 percent to 40 percent, but her lead is within the poll’s margin of error of 2 percentage points," a press release about the poll results stated on Tuesday.
The release noted that the results are Trump’s best showing so far in a head-to-head matchup with Clinton.
