The US Navy finds challenging the large number of countries willing to participate in the regular Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercises, US Pacific Fleet Commander Adm. Scott Swift said in a press conference.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — RIMPAC is the world's largest maritime exercise held every two years in June and July by the US Navy and based in Honolulu in the US state of Hawaii.

"The biggest challenge that I have right now is, I know there is increased interest of other nations participating, but I am not just quite sure how we can cramp more ships into Pearl Harbor [in Hawaii]," Swift stated on Tuesday.
