MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The exact location of four NATO battalions expected to be deployed in Eastern Europe is not yet agreed upon, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said Thursday.
"Exactly where new battalions are going to be located is not yet decided… That will be decided later in a dialogue between NATO, NATO senior military commanders and the host nations," Stoltenberg said during a press conference ahead of the NATO Summit in Warsaw, which will kick off on Friday.
On July 8-9, NATO will hold a Summit in Warsaw, Poland to discuss boosting the alliance’s military presence in Eastern Europe, counterterrorism, Afghanistan and defense budgeting, among other topics.
