Dallas police chief, however, said at a press conference that the law enforcement did not have a "complete comfort level that we have all the suspects," and that officers are continuing to search of the downtown area.
"There are extensive sweeps of downtown for explosives underway. This will take quite a while," senior Dallas police officer Maj. Max Geron wrote on his Twitter account.
Ealier, the police was negotiating with the suspect who was hiding in the El Centro College garage.
Local news reported one loud blast in the garage, probably a flash bang grenade used by police in the attempt to take down the suspect, but it is yet unclear.

Dallas police initially reported that they have one suspect cornered while the second sniper remained unaccounted for.
It is the law enforcement's assumption that the people in the Mercedes were working with the perpetrators, which means that there were at least four people involved in the attack.
All four of the suspects had rifles and were shooters from different points shooting in triangle arrangement to expand the kill box, according to police.
The attackers were said to all be coordinated, they purportedly knew the parade route and strategy.
