WARSAW (Sputnik) — On Friday, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that at the NATO summit in Warsaw that the alliance would strengthen its military presence in Eastern Europe on a rotational basis with four battalions in Poland and in the Baltic nations.
"We have a threat on the East, measures to reassure [allies] are needed, the four battalions. Belgium will take an active part in it, we will send at least 150 servicemen to Lithuania," Reynders told journalists before the beginning of the second day of NATO summit.
