BRUSSELS (Sputnik) – The agenda of this week’s Russia-NATO Council will include the crisis in Ukraine, Afghanistan and efforts to scale down the risks of military incidents, a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) official told RIA Novosti on Monday.
Last week, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg set out the crisis in and around Ukraine, the security situation in Afghanistan, as well as military transparency and risk reduction as the central topics of discussion at the Russia-NATO Council in Brussels on Wednesday.
Asked whether any changes in the agenda would be adopted in the coming days, the NATO official said the three topics outlined by Stoltenberg would remain as they are. The official added Stoltenberg planned to update Russia of the decisions taken at the Warsaw Summit last week.
