With its recent creeping defeats in Iraq, Daesh is trying to tighten the grip on the residents of Mosul, the self-proclaimed Islamic caliphate's largest stronghold in the country; in addition to its absurd recent ban on satellite TV broadcasts, the jihadists now ban the sale of contraceptives as a long-term strategy to encourage mass reproduction.

EXCLUSIVE: Yazidi Female Fighters Tell Daesh They'll 'Wipe Them Out'
A current resident of the city of Mosul told Sputnik that Daesh (ISIL/ISIS) terrorists are now threatening pharmacy owners with reprisals if they find any contraceptives or any medication which can be used to cause miscarriage for sale in their stores.

“With such a ban, Daesh militants want to prevent any attempts of the women they rape to get rid of their children. Thus the terrorists could reproduce massively with a long-term perspective for their own future generation,” he told Sputnik.

According to the man, it is for future reproduction the terrorists bring foreign girls to Iraq, to father more children and have numerous younger generations at their disposal.

It is a well-known fact that from their first appearance in Iraq and Syria, Daesh has recruited and armed children, whom they often use as human shields during assaults on government forces.

However, the long-term demographic prospect of the terrorists might have catastrophic consequences for Iraq, even though the jihadists are on the brink of collapse, pressured by rapidly advancing government forces and self-defense units.

The terrorists who are raping young girls will sooner or later retreat and the cities will eventually be liberated. However, the numerous children they will leave behind could be left depending on either unwedded mothers or the state.

Meanwhile, press-secretary of National Mobilization Forces of Nineveh province Mahmud Al-Surji told Sputnik that Iraqi forces are currently conducting an offensive on southern borders of Mosul for the soonest liberation of the city.

“Scores of terrorists have been killed and several arrested during the recent operation on liberation of Qayyarah military base,” he told Sputnik.

He also added that not far from the city of Hammam Al-Alil the terrorists made a public execution of 30 of their fellow militants for an attempt to flee the battlefield during the liberation of Qayyarah. Among those executed there were four Daesh women.
